The Latin Quarter is where Paris began more than 2,000 years ago — and where its intellectual life still thrives today. Walk from the old streets of the 5th arrondissement towards the Panthéon and Sorbonne before crossing the Luxembourg Gardens.
Continue through Saint‑Sulpice, Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés and the Odéon, where churches, literary cafés, passages and hidden corners reveal the many lives of the Left Bank. Optional stops at local pastry and chocolate addresses add a taste of contemporary Paris; food and drinks are paid separately.
The walk finishes at Shakespeare and Company, facing Notre‑Dame.

The guided walk lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Where does the tour start?
Meet in front of Le Repaire de Bacchus, 47ter boulevard Saint‑Germain, directly outside Maubert–Mutualité metro station on line 10.
Where does the tour finish?
The walk finishes at Shakespeare and Company, 37 rue de la Bûcherie, facing Notre‑Dame.
Which places will we see?
The route includes the Panthéon, Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens, Saint‑Sulpice, Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés, Rue de Fürstenberg, Rue de Buci and the Cour du Commerce Saint‑André. Routes may occasionally change.
Which languages are available?
The tour can be offered in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, subject to availability.
Is the tour suitable for children?
Yes. The minimum participant age is 8 years. Children should be comfortable walking for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Are food and drinks included?
No. Food and drinks are not included. Optional pastry or chocolate stops may be possible, with purchases paid separately.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suited to the forecast. Bring water and, in summer, sun protection; warm layers and gloves are recommended in winter.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 24 hours before the activity starts for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are not refundable.
